Speaking & Keynotes

As a nationally recognized public speaker, I bring a heartfelt and personalized message to organizations, conferences, and health providers  working towards suicide prevention and education.

Hearing Diana speak about her experience with mental health, the mental health system, and ultimate recovery will blow you away.  She Speaks from the heart in a candid and open manner that allows you to feel the pain and struggles of her journey.  It is a pleasure to stand alongside her in the field of suicide prevention.  I know when we work together the audience is in for a real treat!

Diana is an incredible, compassionate, and thoughtful speaker. She shares her long and personal history of suicidal thoughts and behaviors, that included multiple hospitalizations, alongside tremendous insight in to what helped along the way and what didn’t so that providers and others can learn from her experiences. She is an educator and an advocate for how providers and systems can and should use evidence-based practices including how DBT actually saved her life. Her perspective and voice should be part of the dialogue anytime suicide prevention is discussed.

Empathy • Compassion • Insight

My keynotes bring a heartful, raw and inspiring perspective to the topic of suicide prevention.  These insights help guide the way to improved communication and care for those working in healthcare, mental health and social services communities with the people they serve.

A seasoned speaker and presenter, I bring a very personal story to the suicide prevention community and health provider community.  My aim is to offer hope and guidance for suicide prevention.  As a Latina, I’m also connected to the Latino community and understand the unique cultural differences.
